Evangelist Larry A. Glenn is a life long resident of Winston-Salem,
North Carolina. Brother Glenn is the youngest of three
children born to John Nelson Glenn and the late Clara Mae
Conrad Glenn.
Brother Glenn was baptized into Christ on January 6, 1978. He
served as a deacon for the Redland Church of Christ for 10
years. Brother Glenn studied under the late Brother Magellan
Stevenson who was a graduate of the Nashville Christian
Institute under the late Brother Marshall Keeble.
Brother Glenn has been preaching since 1988. He has faithfully
served as minister for the Redland Church of Christ since
April 2001.
Brother Glenn is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University. He
married Virginia Lola Porter on July 2, 1977. They have two
children: Stephanie Rene` Williams of Baltimore, Maryland and
Nicholas A. Glenn of High Point, North Carolina. Nicholas
serves as assistant minister at the Sharp Road
Church of Christ in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Brother Glenn truly believes that the gospel is God’s power to
save (Romans 1:16). He is dedicated to spreading God’s
word. He believes that some of the friendliest people in
the great state of North Carolina are members of the
