We are Christians only. Our church organization is patterned after the early church established by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We belong to Jesus Christ and Him only. We desire to worship and practice our faith with simplicity and sincerity as part of the church that is described in the New Testament.

Jesus prayed that his followers would be one (John 17:21), and we try to do our part by keeping his word as the only standard of faith.  We believe that the world needs unity, not more division. We simply follow the Word of God, and use it as our standard for all of our doctrine and beliefs. We respect the authority of the Bible.

Jesus wanted people to know the truth about God - a truth untainted by man-made traditions and opinion (Matt. 15:1-4).  We want to have unity in doctrine, liberty in opinion, and love in all things.  We encourage people to respect what the Bible says. One of the amazing things about Scripture is that it never changes.

What it said when it was first spoken is the same thing it says now. The Scriptures were written in a language called Koine Greek, a type of the language which is no longer spoken and therefore is frozen in time. That is no accident; it is a providential provision.

That means that the language of the Bible is never in a state of flux like other languages. Its word meanings are sealed in time. It still says the same thing it said when it was first revealed to the apostles and prophets, and we make it our goal to follow it as it is written.

The church of Christ was established on the day of Pentecost following the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from the grave (Acts 2). It is not denominational, nor is it even non-denominational, for when it was founded, the idea of a denomination had not yet been born in the minds of men.

It has neither creed nor other man-made guide, but relies solely upon the word of God for its guidance and direction. It was founded by Christ (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 5:25), with Christ still remaining as its head (Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18).

Those who are members of the body of Christ are in His church (Galatians 3:27; Colossians 3:15). To be added to the church by God (Acts 2:47), one must be obedient to that which has been commanded by God. One must believe in Christ (John 3:36), repent of sins (Acts 17:30), confess their faith in Christ (Acts 8:37), and be baptized into Christ (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16). Salvation is in Christ (2 Timothy 2:10), but one cannot get into Christ except by baptism (Galatians 3:27).

The Lords church, without question, is the greatest organization in the world. It possesses the greatest mission on earth, in that it is to reach out to the lost with the saving message of Jesus Christ. Through the means of evangelism, benevolence and edification, we are dedicated to the task of preparing men, women, boys and girls for an eternity in heaven.

With a world population surpassing '7' billion souls, the harvest is truly plentiful as to provide much fruit for the Lord's kingdom. We are determined to "Speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent".

You are welcome and we would be delighted to have you worship with us this Sunday. You will be encouraged by the presence of cheerful people who will greet you with enthusiasm and love. We look forward to your coming. It is truly our goal, our aim, and our privilege to share the love of God with you.
